This week have been learning about Henry VIII's younger years. We have been comparing portraits, of how he looked when he was young with how he looked as he got older. We created similes in our literacy hour to describe Henry as a young man, using clues in the portraits we explored, and used these to create these simile acrostics using his name. Here are a few of the poems we wrote, we will be publishing the others in our next episode. We would love to hear what you think.

The Buzz is Year 3's podcast and vodcast station. We will be using this space to publish learning logs and exciting moments from our learning week. Subscribe or pop by to keep in touch with what we are up to in school.
We are teachers and Year 3 students (7-8yrs old) from a large Primary School in the South West of England. This site is where we intend to host our year group Podcast for the time being anyway. A place to share our learning journey, and present some of our works in progress. We hope you enjoy what you hear and see and will visit regularly to share our journey with us.
